About CJML

Established in 2023, Central Jersey Muslim League (CJML) was built to create something our community needed: a place where Muslims could compete, connect, and build lasting relationships through sports.

What began as a local sports league has grown into a community centered around competition, brotherhood, and creating experiences that extend far beyond the game.

In many communities, there is no true third space — a place outside of work, school, home, and the masjid where Muslims can consistently come together, build friendships, and genuinely connect.

CJML exists to help create that space through competitive, high-energy sports.

We believe community sports don't have to feel like an ordinary recreational league.

CJML continues to invest in the experience surrounding the game — from professional jerseys, statistics and league leaders to photography, game film, weekly awards, media coverage, playoffs, and championship experiences.

The goal is simple: if our athletes take the competition seriously, the league should take their experience just as seriously.

Basketball, football, and soccer share the same CJML community behind every schedule, standings page, and championship run. Pick your sport and follow the season all year.
